- Implementation of marketing strategies across GTFD product structures focusing on commodities & energy
- Origination and execution of transactions across EMEA focusing on commodities & energy
- Responsible for ad-hoc initiatives to develop the GTFD franchise
Business Area
Trade Solutions Sales Vice President
- The role sits within the EMEA Trade Solutions Sales team, reporting into a Team Head within the Trade Solutions Sales Team focusing on Commodities & Energy.
- Generally this role would be working with Director level employees proactively contributing to the development of structured trade solutions and running transactions with and for them with high levels of autonomy. The role includes both analysis and administration tasks and taking personal control of smaller individual transactions or significant elements of larger/more complex transactions – including running some transactions and activities independently.
Position Description
- Working with senior staff (Director and above) as part of a deal team to support the implementation of the Trade Solution Sales strategy for the origination of new transactions in EMEA in the commodities & energy and some other sectors under ad-hoc initiatives.
- Contributing to development of the GTFD sustainability strategy, including the development and implementation of solutions across GTFD product offering to address SMBC clients’ requirements.
- To carry out marketing activities including:
- Dealing directly with customers for the origination of regulated products including telephone and face to face meetings.
- Preparing externally facing marketing materials in line with the guidelines and seeking compliance approval.
- Review new facility documentation to ensure the accuracy of all financial details and compliance with the Bank’s procedure and the terms of the associated credit approvals.
