Role Summary

As an intern in the CBD2 Relationship Management Support team, you will contribute to: 
•    Support the RMS Team in their day-to-day activities, of which notably includes the execution of new transactions (loans, trade finance, FX & derivatives, deposits, etc.) or requests related to existing deals and coordination with internal stakeholders;
•    Take some direct responsibility for simple KYC / Compliance requirements for new customer onboardings, and periodic reviews, as well as maintaining data integrity in internal systems;
•    Support the Team regarding potential ad-hoc requests or projects at CBD2 Paris, CBD2 Brussels or EMEA level.

Business Area

The internship is within Corporate Banking Department II (CBD2), the front office coverage department covering a portfolio of primarily 30+ large corporate groups in France, Belgium and Luxembourg. The intern will be part of the Relationship Management Support (RMS) team which is in charge of the execution of new transactions, the day-to-day support of the dedicated RM portfolios, credit administration and promotion of good governance within CBD2 including KYC/AML topics (through the Bank’s internal systems).
 

Position Description

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
•    Gap year/end-of-studies student in finance, enrolled in a top business / engineering school; 
•    Well organized, autonomous, with a great capacity to analyse and synthetize, team player and open-minded;
•    Excellent communication skills both in French and English, written and spoken;
•    Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines;
•    Achievement oriented, focused on exceeding business goals with strong attention to details;
•    Strong interest for investment, economic and banking concepts; 
•    Interest for financial / credit analysis;
•    Proficient with MS Office Pack (Excel, Word, PPT);
•    First experience in banking or financial services industry is preferred.
