Purpose of Job |
The jobholder is a change manager to lead any types of projects arisen in Credit Department where the bank’s credit policies and rules are executed through credit and sustainability risk assessment process. This position is a driver, coordinator and/or executor of projects by providing analysis, design, and management of business requirements for the successful project implementation. This position supports the department managements to respond to the bank’s business strategy together with global stakeholders in the bank in growing regulatory landscape. |
Background |
CD is the 2nd line of defence function of the Bank’s Credit and Sustainability Risk Management. In this regards, CPG shares the responsibilities with Credit Supervision Group (CSG) to establish a robust foundation for credit risk management for EMEA operations as well as for SMBC Group companies: a) overseeing activities governed by the Bank’s Credit Risk Policy and Rules to identify and assess risks in line with the bank's risk management framework, b) contributing establishing new framework in response to regulatory or business requirements c) reviewing existing management framework to improve operational soundness, and d) monitoring and reporting overall activities to the Risk Management functions of SMBC, SMBC BI and Bank EU. |
