- There are currently c.30 members in GTBD EMEA team including Planning, Sales and Product Development team.
- The current business in EMEA is focused predominantly on servicing Japanese multi-national corporates trading in EMEA. However, we are looking to improve the client proposition to all clients and expand it to non-Japanese clients.
- We are on a mission to upgrade our capabilities and client reach and have a number of projects to deliver this.
Role Summary
- Repositioned the role from strategy leadership and organisational ownership to a more execution-focused sales delivery role, operating under the direction of the Executive Director responsible for EMEA Cash Management Sales.
- Expanded the Role Summary to clarify that the role supports the growth of the EMEA Cash Management business by helping convert business strategy into practical sales activity, client engagement and measurable commercial outcomes.
- Added that the role will support coverage of targeted portfolios beyond the traditional Japanese corporate base, including Non-Japanese corporate clients and Financial Institutions, in order to broaden the client reach and deepen wallet share across EMEA.
- Added responsibilities such as pipeline management, client planning, proposal preparation, RFP support, client feedback collection, KPI tracking and cross-functional coordination with Relationship Managers, Product, Operations, Technology, Risk, Legal and Compliance.
- Positioned the role as a key support function for disciplined sales execution, helping prioritise target clients, prepare client-facing materials, track progress against sales initiatives and escalate execution issues where appropriate.
- Added a skills and experience section reflecting a cash management / transaction banking sales profile, with emphasis on client engagement, transaction banking products, sales discipline and the ability to work across multiple internal stakeholders.
- Set the reporting line to the Executive Director responsible for EMEA Cash Management Sales.

Position Description
- Support the execution of EMEA Cash Management sales initiatives, including translating agreed strategy into practical client plans, pipeline actions and follow-up activities.
- Work with Relationship Managers and product partners to identify and progress opportunities across targeted portfolios, including Non-Japanese corporate clients and Financial Institutions.
- Prepare tailored client proposals, discussion materials and RFP responses, helping position cash management solutions based on client needs, existing banking relationships and product capabilities.
- Coordinate regular sales discussions and contribute to the collection of client and RM feedback on new product concepts, service improvements and commercial opportunities.
- Promote business growth through close collaboration with Relationship Management teams across Banking, Product, Operations, Technology, Risk, Legal and Compliance.
- Track pipeline progress, sales activity and relevant KPIs, providing updates to senior management and helping identify execution issues or prioritisation needs.
- Provide practical input into product development discussions by sharing client feedback, market observations and emerging cash management trends across EMEA.
