Lending Product Analyst

Is the next step in your career at SMBC Group EMEA? We’re looking for a Lending Product Analyst for our ITSD to join our team. 

  1. Support the Loan Product owner by providing business analysis to the SFS and CIB front office pillars in their lending application requirements
  2. Provide input to the solution design aligned with EMEA IT strategy
  3. Project manage small tactical deliveries through the project governance onboarding process
  4. Run team level initiatives working with internal development teams where necessary
  5. Facilitate and communicate changes in the loan product that may impact front, middle and back office teams
  6. Assist the Product Owner by joining the monthly forums across both front office pillars and foster working relationships with the individual teams
  7. Understand, analyse and document the business requirements and work with the Product Owner to establish solutions and projects, assist with creation of Project Demand and Product Initiation Documents to obtain IT Forum approval
  8. Identify opportunities to synchronise and integrate data flow between processes/applications in order to embed automation and efficiency across the front office

CIB & SFS Verticals

Support the Loan departments within the SFS and CIB front office verticals

Position Description

  1. Support the Loan Product owner by providing business analysis to the SFS and CIB front office pillars in their lending application requirements
  2. Provide input to the solution design aligned with EMEA IT strategy
  3. Project manage small tactical deliveries through the project governance onboarding process
  4. Run team level initiatives working with internal development teams where necessary
  5. Facilitate and communicate changes in the loan product that may impact front, middle and back office teams
  6. Update monthly status reports and project reporting for the PMO team
  7. Work with the innovation team to support new technologies such as GenAI
