Role Summary
We’re looking for a IT Project Manager in our IT Architecture and Enginner team at Assistant Vice President level with with strong communications and stakeholder management skills to work across business and technical teams.
Business Area
This role sits in the ITSD Architecture and Engineering Team and is part of the Internal Application Development team who are responsible for delivering application across multiple business areas The role involves working closely with business clients, other members of the ITSD and JRIE and, in particular, the teams responsible for delivering business process automation and cloud-based applications.
Position Description
- Facilitating effective communication between business users, stakeholders, developers and QA testers in order to define, agree and document functional requirements toward the delivery of software solutions.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Understanding, analysing, and documenting changes to business processes and software systems.
- Analysing and documenting systems and software solutions through user interviews and direct interaction.
- Learn and apply standard methodologies and templates provided by the Project Management Office to create and maintain project documentation - Change Requests, Question logs, meeting minutes etc. Working with business users and systems architects to develop and document functional specifications.
- Working with software developers to convert functional specifications into technical specifications.
- Facilitating workshops with stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues as they arise.
- Assisting in the development and implementation test strategies and test cases.
- The role will be hands on, will include aspects of project management, project administration.
