Role Summary
- This role sits at the core of EMEA strategic planning, with primary responsibility for generating insight-driven analysis to support senior management decision-making and sustainable growth across the region. The individual will focus on delivering robust strategic and competitive intelligence, including holistic peer comparison, grounded in detailed analysis of publicly disclosed information and internal/external data.
- The role will contribute to EMEA’s growth agenda by supporting the development of strategic priorities, including portfolio optimisation and the identification of mid- to long-term growth opportunities. This will involve evaluating competitive positioning and translating insights into actionable recommendations to inform business and investment/divestment decisions.
- A key aspect of the role is to ensure consistency, rigour, and clarity in strategic analysis and internal reporting. The individual will prepare high-quality materials and briefing notes to support discussions at senior management, CEO, CSO, and executive forums.
- The role requires close collaboration with key stakeholders, including the CEO, the General Managers of the Strategic Planning Department(CSO&CFO), as well as Corporate Research Department and Financial Research Department. Through these partnerships, the individual will source, validate, and interpret financial and strategic data, ensuring alignment and consistency across analytical outputs.
- In addition, the role will involve ongoing monitoring of the competitive landscape through systematic analysis of peer disclosures and performance trends. Given the lack of fully comparable, like-for-like disclosure across EMEA peers, the role requires strong analytical judgement and the ability to apply tailored methodologies to derive meaningful and decision-relevant insights.
