We are seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) to join our Execution Distribution and Limit Control (EDLC) Department.
Role Summary
The successful candidate will join the Limit Control function within the EDLC team. This team is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of all credit limits across the Bank, ensuring timely updates and robust monitoring within a strong control framework. A core focus of the role is the preparation of control reports that identify and escalate daily excesses, support timely remediation, and ensure all limits remain aligned with approved GBR credit terms. The team also provides essential support to Front Office teams by ensuring that uncommitted limits are correctly and promptly captured across all relevant systems (LIQ, OBS, FOX, GGS, and Profile).

Role Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and escalate daily excess reports across all Bank systems, ensuring that breaches are promptly identified and addressed.
- Input and update credit limits in accordance with the Bank’s control framework and GBR credit approvals.
- Perform reconciliations and investigations to verify that all credit limits are accurately reflected in the Bank’s accounting systems and align with GBR credit approval data.
- Produce additional control reports to ensure the correct recording and adherence of limits across the Bank’s systems.
- Maintain Bank limit and perform general administrative tasks relating to the Bank’s Trade Finance system (GGS).
- Input ISDA documentation terms into the Bank’s systems to ensure accurate reporting of derivative transactions.
- Support Execution Control Team leaders with the allocation of new loan transactions and respond to general queries related to loans and limits.
- Regularly review, maintain, and enhance internal procedures to ensure ongoing accuracy and efficiency.
- Participate in project work as required, including system enhancements and testing activities.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Have at least 5 years of Banking experience, and ideally be familiar with general Loans, trade finance and derivative transactions
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively across EDLC and wider Bank departments.
- Well‑organised, self‑motivated, and able to build effective interpersonal relationships.
- Demonstrates a solution‑focused approach, working collaboratively to progress transactions and resolve issues.
- Proactive, with the ability to take initiative and deliver high‑quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Keen to learn and adaptable, able to work effectively within a team that manages a wide range of tasks with varying workload peaks.
- Capable of multi‑tasking and prioritising workloads effectively to meet SLAs while maintaining high standards of accuracy and delivery.
- Demonstrates a strong willingness to develop and quickly build the technical skill set required for the role.
