Role Summary

Is the next step in your career at SMBC Group EMEA? We’re looking for a Working Student (f/m/d) to support our Talent Acquisition team!

Gain hands-on experience in recruitment and contribute to an international hiring environment while developing your HR skills. 
This role offers valuable insights into end-to-end recruitment processes in a global organisation.

 

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Talent Acquisition Team during the entire recruitment cycle including.

Business Area

The Human Resources Department at SMBC Group EMEA plays a key role in attracting, developing, and retaining talent across the organisation. The Talent Acquisition team focuses on identifying and hiring the right candidates to support the bank’s continued growth.

 

As part of this team, you will gain insight into recruitment processes within an international environment and support the delivery of an efficient and positive candidate experience.

Position Description

About this role:
This role supports the Talent Acquisition team in their daily operations and contributes to an efficient and positive recruitment process. It plays an important part in ensuring a smooth candidate experience and administrative accuracy.

You will work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, candidates, and HR colleagues.

 

Our role will enable you to:

  • Support coordination and scheduling of interviews
  • Maintain and update candidate information in internal systems
  • Assist in posting and managing job advertisements
  • Communicate with candidates regarding interview logistics
  • Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team
  • Assist with onboarding preparation and documentation
  • Support employer branding activities and recruitment events

 

What will you bring to the role?

  • Currently pursuing a degree (e.g., Business Administration, HR, Psychology or similar)
  • Interest in recruitment and human resources
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident use of MS Office applications
  • Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
  • ready to work in a fast paced environment

 

Desirable:

  • First practical experience in HR or recruitment (e.g., internship)
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
