Role Summary
We are looking for a Working Student (m/f/d) to join our Financial Crime Advisory Compliance Team in Frankfurt. You will support a dynamic international environment and gain insight into the regulatory landscape of a global financial institution.
Business Area
This role offers exposure to:
- EU Regulatory frameworks and developments related to Anti-Financial Crime (AFC), including AMLD, GwG, KWG, and BaFin guidance
- Internal policy and procedure analysis, updates, and amendment
- Project-related work on audit preparation, findings, and remediation tasks
- Escalation handling and support for internal stakeholders
- Cross-departmental collaboration with other relevant departments
Position Description
In this role you will be:
- Support the AFC Advisory team in monitoring and analysing EU regulations, directives, and supervisory guidance
- Assist in drafting and reviewing internal policies, standards, and risk frameworks
- Contribute to regulatory mapping exercises and control documentation
- Prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Support ongoing projects related to audits, findings, and regulatory implementations
- Conduct research and assist in maintaining awareness of upcoming regulatory changes
For you to succeed in the role, you require the following:
- Ongoing academics studies in Finance, Economics, Law, or related field, with strong interest in Financial Regulations or Compliance
- Solid analytical and research skills with attention to details
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (German still are desirable but nor required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Curiosity, initiative, and the ability wo work independently as well as collaboratively in an international setting
