We’re looking for a KYC & Client Onboarding Associate (m/f/d) for our Global Markets – KYC Middle Office team!
Join a growing international platform where you will work closely with front‑office and control functions to support the onboarding of clients across the EEA region. This role offers exposure to global markets products and the opportunity to develop strong expertise within KYC, AML, and regulatory onboarding.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Executing KYC onboarding for EEA clients across Fixed Income, Equities, and Treasury products.
- Managing documentation collection, verification, and ongoing quality standards.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant onboarding decisions.
For you to succeed in the role, you’ll need to have:
- Experience in KYC, AML, client onboarding, or similar regulatory/control environments.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills.
Position Description
About this role
This role has been created to support Bank EU’s Global Markets business in delivering efficient, compliant, and high‑quality KYC onboarding for clients across the EEA region. It plays a key role in ensuring that client onboarding aligns with regulatory expectations, internal policies, and the bank’s overall risk appetite.
You will collaborate closely with Global Markets Front Office, Compliance, Risk, Legal, FCMO teams in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, London, and Paris, as well as with external client representatives.
Our role will enable you to:
- Source, collect, verify, and maintain accurate KYC documentation.
- Apply and interpret AML/KYC rules, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to remediation and data quality initiatives related to legacy onboarding files.
- Support the delivery of a smooth client onboarding journey across GM products.
- Strengthen the control environment and ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks.
What will you bring to the role?
Essential:
- Initial experience within KYC, AML, client onboarding, due diligence, or similar control‑focused roles.
- Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritise effectively, and make sound operational decisions.
- Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and confidence working in a regulated environment.
Desirable:
- Experience with Global Markets products (Fixed Income, Treasury, Equities).
- Familiarity with EEA regulatory frameworks and cross‑border onboarding processes.
- Exposure to remediation or data‑quality enhancement projects.
