Role Summary

We are looking for an Intern (m/f/d) to join our Structured Finance Team.

You will support the team across the entire value chain from deal execution to distribution.

Business Area

This role offers exposure to:

• Exposure to the full transaction lifecycle – from marketing and origination to deal execution and distribution
• Hands-on experience in a front-office environment, supporting pitches, credit processes, and client onboarding
• Challenging responsibilities including preparing presentations, market analysis, and assisting with KYC and administrative tasks

Position Description

In this role you will:

• Support on preparation of pitches and marketing materials
• Support on all aspects of the preparation of credit applications, incl. grading, SMVA calculation etc.
• Support on client onboarding, account opening etc.
• Prepare business trips
• Support on deal execution
• Support on distribution activities e. g. drafting of teasers, responding to Q&A etc.

For you to succeed in the role, you require the following:

• Strong academic background from a top-tier school in related major, such as business or finance
• Clear interest in Project Finance / Asset finance and preferably first business experience
• Theoretical knowledge about financing and banking
• Team player with an entrepreneurial and inquisitive mind-set and ability to work independently
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving ability and keen attention to detail
• German native speaker or professional level/fluency
• Professional level/fluency in English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Flexibility and stress resistance
